A QR Code is a 2-D (two-dimensional) code, readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera and smartphones. A QR Code contains information in both the vertical and horizontal directions, allowing it to hold a considerably greater volume of information than a bar code. The information encoded can be text, a URL or other data.
How are QR codes relevant to Thermo Scientific?
Recently, you may have seen QR codes on Thermo Scientific print brochures, flyers or tradeshow booth displays. Depending on the messaging, scanning the QR code may offer you informational videos, special offers, contact details or more information about a product or service provided by Thermo Scientific.
